Our story
Maritime Timber Community Group is a non-profit organization founded by Dylan Parker, a Veteran and Red Seal Carpenter.
After over a decade of service in the Canadian Armed Forces, Dylan experienced difficulty during his transition out of uniform. He began using his skills as a carpenter as a means of finding purpose and giving back to his community.
As the demand for projects increased, so did interest from community members wishing to contribute. As more and more individuals became involved, Dylan purchased a workshop on 4 acres in Enfield, Nova Scotia and founded Maritime Timber Community Group.
Experience the joy of giving back to your community while honing your skills with us. Let's build a stronger, more connected community through the timeless craft of carpentry.
To all who seek to learn and grow, welcome to a place where passion meets action. Let's create something remarkable, one project at a time.
